Discussion context:

The Role of Impact Universities in Sustainable Regional Development: Fundraising, Innovation, Creative Economy

The role of universities and the education system in general is transforming in the context of raising a sustainable generation with due consideration of historical and cultural potential of regions. Assessment of connections between Impact Universities ranking indicators and innovative, economic, environmental potential of regions, as well as practical approaches to implementing the sustainable development concept into universities' operation with regard to their social mission - all this demands integration of researchers and practitioners into discussion. The third 'social mission of universities' is transforming into impact investment development through engagement, innovation and implementation of new forms of capital in regions.
